Storytellers from EHD communities, EU Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Award winners and the European Heritage Label were invited to share their interpretation of a European heritage story and to explore the ways they understand their heritage site or heritage work corresponds with common European values.
The heart of ancient Athens – Project ORIGINS
The project proposed by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Athens City involved the production of a short film on a teenager strolling “The Heart of Ancient Athens” (the Acropolis and the Theatre of Dionysos, the Agora, the Pnyx, Kerameikos, the Roman Agora, the Library of Hadrian) discovering the materiality of European values in their formation, during the classical era. Relevant educational activities would be implemented and educational material would be produced and disseminated.
The project was selected for funding with the amount of 10.000 Euros.
